Norfolk Tank Museum


The Norfolk Tank Museum is an independent museum housing a collection of military vehicles, weapons and militaria including Deborah II, the replica Mk IV Tank as seen on Channel 4’s documentary ‘Guy Martin’s WWI Tank’.
We also have a unique collection of Centurion tanks: an AVRE; a Mk13 Gun Tank and an ARV, these are on static display most of the year, but can be seen in action along with other vehicles on our purpose-built course at Armourfest 11th & 12th August 2018. Also on static display, with full public access, are a Chieftain Main Battle Tank and a Saladin Armoured Scout Car, you can climb inside and experience the confirmed space

The Plantation Garden


The Plantation Garden is a Grade II English Heritage registered garden close to Norwich City centre, next to the Catholic Cathedral.

The Garden comprises nearly 3 acres and its features include a Gothic fountain, flower beds, lawns, an Italianate terrace, ‘Medieval’ wall, summer-house, woodland walkways and a rustic bridge. It is an idiosyncratic garden, a haven of peace and tranquillity and a glimpse into a bygone age.

This wonderful unique restaurant in Norfolk is conveniently located at the historic and multi award winning Wymondham Railway Station, (Pronounced ‘Wind-ham’ not ‘Why-mond-ham’!) which is situated on the main Norwich to Cambridge railway line – The former MP and now TV presenter, Michael Portillo visited Wymondham Railway Station in July 2010 when filming for the popular ‘Great British Railway Journeys’
